This year, our Founder, Karen and our Certified Profit First Coach, Holly, attended the 11th annual ProfitCON in New Jersey. It is always a good time to hang out with Mike Michalowicz (Author, Profit First), Ron Saharyan (Co-Founder of Profit First Professionals) and the Profit First Guides & Homebase team!
Theme: “In Plain Sight”
This year, ProfitCON challenged us to realize things right in front of us — either things that are opportunities yet to be realized or things holding us back. We heard from world famous keynote speakers, authors, some fellow PFPs and even a magician — hearing inspirational stories of real-life trials and triumphs, and how to make true human connection — even through our failures and mistakes.

Keynote: Hal Elrod “The Miracle Morning”
Day 1 Kicked off with Mike introducing his friend and fellow author, Hal Elrod, author and founder of the global movement called “The Miracle Morning” - we all got a copy of the updated and revised original book! The Miracle Morning is a method for personal and professional development - changing your life and mindset, one morning at a time. In as little as 6 minutes, or as much as 60+ minutes - you have the ability to take control of your life through age-old, proven practices like meditation, affirmations, visualization and intentional movement to improve your mental, spiritual and physical health — which can all impact your productivity and profitability in life!

As seen below, a few thousand tiny piggies were hiding “in plain sight” through out the event venue for attendees to find! The winners found over 100+ each! We only came home with a handful as souvenirs.
The Money Habit
Mike’s newest book, The Money Habit, set to release in January 2026, takes the methods and essence of Profit First and transforms it for personal finance. We are all very excited to learn more about the method and how to help elevate our own finances, those of our clients’, their employees and families!
Posture In Plain Sight: Ergonomics for Health, Efficiency & Profitability
Dr. Holly Tucker, Chiropractor
Our very own – Holly, AKA Dr. Holly Tucker, joined the ProfitCON stage this year!
Certified Profit First Professional and licensed Chiropractor in practice for nearly 15 years, Dr. Holly spoke on “Ergonomics for Health, Efficiency & Profitability”
During this interactive session, Holly talked about the personal and personnel burden of musculoskeletal pain – in a room of accounting professionals.
This session meant to bridge the gap between a workforce that largely works from a desk on how to take effective posture breaks to maintain spinal health.
The room was lined wall-to-wall with a mini-posture break stretch to remind everyone of neutral posture!
